Sea Shell Wedding

Here is the wedding cake I did today. White Almond Sour Cream with Buttercream Icing. White Chocolate sea shells, hand painted with Marine Blue food dust and Super Pearl dust. Edible pearls for the "bubble" effect. Even the "sand" is edible (Nilla Wafers!)
A lovely young couple starting their lives together on Tybee Island GA.
Beautiful weather and a great setting.
Congratulations Crystal and Garrett!

  1. Just a really lovely, lovely cake, girlfriend! Sounds like you have had a crazy Easter weekend. The wedding cake is elegant and lovely and so impressive....but can I say, I'd just love one of the puppy cupcakes right about now! : -) Hope you are managing some rest & relaxation this Easter weekend!

  2. Just stopped by off Bakerella. Love this cake. The icing is SOOOO smooth. That's my next goal - working with icing to make it *look* like fondant.
