Gymnastics Girl

Caitlin is BIG into gymnastics....she's serious about this stuff!

So for her birthday she wanted a gymnastics themed cake.  I asked her mom what her favorite event was and she said she was a "beam" girl.....and her favorite colors are pink and purple.
So I made a chocolate ribbon beam around the bottom edge of the cake and made several purple sillohuettes of different moves.

What a fun cake!  Hope you had a great birthday Caitlin!

  9. Thanks everyone for looking! I get many requests on how I made the silhouettes. If you look at my tutorial on FBCT it will show you the basic method. Only these silhouettes are made from colored chocolate. I guess I need to post a chocolate transfer tutorial!
